BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- A woman from Ghana is in custody after federal authorities say she tried to enter the United States from Canada using someone else's passport.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents said Thursday that the 43-year-old woman was on a bus entering Niagara Falls, N.Y. across the Rainbow Bridge when she was arrested on Wednesday.
Authorities say she presented a valid Canadian passport and told border agents she was on her way to a church event in Pennsylvania. But when questioned further, she told officers she was using documents that weren't hers to get into the country.
She's charged with misuse of a passport
