Nsawam, June 9, GNA – Two persons who were killed in a lorry accident have been identified by the Nsawam Police as Samuel Ahadzi, a 58 year-old teacher at Nsawam, and Francis Eklu Danso, alias Oelle, 23.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the development, Deputy Superintendent of Police Samuel Ntosoh, Commander of Nsawam Motor Transport and Traffic Unit of the Police, said that on June 1, this year, at about 1300 hours, Ahadzi was killed by a 207-Benz bus with registration number GE 7416 travelling from New Ningo to Kwasi Nyarko, near Adeiso, in the Eastern Region .
The Police Commander said that the vehicle, which was coming from the Nsawam Ghana Commercial Bank area, veered off its lane into the other side of the road knocking down Ahadzi, who was going to the bank to transect business.
Ahadze was pronounced dead at the Nsawam Government Hospital.
