HFC Bank supporting people to own houses

Accra , May 9, GNA - Mr. Asare Akuffo, Managing Director of HFC Bank (Ghana), on Tuesday noted that if customers commit themselves to savings they could easily become house owners.

      He said the HFC Bank, was committed to supporting people to own their own houses, and explained that basically, the 2010 HFC Bank Home Save Promotion, aimed to promote home ownership amongst Ghanaians.

   "For most people, owning a home is one of the most important plans to dedicate one's earnings towards," Mr Akuffo said.

      The Managing Director made the observation on Wednesday, when he handed over a two bed-room house to Ms. Adelaide Larissa Boye, the Grand Winner of the 2010 HFC Bank Home Save Promotion, in the final draw, at Oyarifa in Accra.

      She is the third and final winner of three draws of the promotion, in which previous winners each had a two-bedroom house.

       "I was thrilled to receive a phone call that said I was the winner of the Home-Save Promotion. Actually, the thrill came later because I was initially shocked beyond disbelieve," said Ms. Boye.
