Accra, July 18, GNA – The 30th Annual National Delegates Conference of Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) Men’s Fellowship, has been scheduled for July 26-29 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
About 350 delegates from the Presbyteries, Districts and Local Branches are expected to attend the four-day conference on the theme:”The Holy Spirit and the Believer-The Fruitful Man”.
It provides the platform to review activities of the Fellowship, assess its performance and make projections for the future.
A statement issued by Mr Felix B. Wiredu, National Secretary in Accra on Wednesday, said Right Reverend Professor Emmanuel Martey, Moderator of the General Assembly of PCG, would deliver the keynote address for the conference on Friday, July 27.
The Fellowship is one of the generational groups in the church, and membership is for adult men from 40 years and above.
It seeks to encourage men to utilise their time, talents, and treasures for the development of the church and country, as well as offering guidance and support for the youth, evangelism, Bible Studies and spiritual growth in the church.
The statement said the fellowship mobilised men in the church to harness their rich and resourceful experiences towards the growth of the church.
It said the fellowship was involved in developmental and income generating projects, to reduce poverty and provide spiritual upliftment and renewal for all people.
