Kumasi, Aug 17, GNA – The Reverend Canon Oscar Christian Amoah, Chaplain of the Kumasi Anglican Senior High School, on Friday called for effective and proactive leadership to ensure the growth of the church.
He appealed to the clergy to be humble, effective and portray values that would enhance their leadership qualities, and said: “church leaders should find favour with man and God”.
Rev. Amoah made the observation during a requiem mass in memory of departed souls, at the 13th Biennial National Delegate conference of the Anglican Young’s People’s Association in Kumasi.
Delegates, mainly the youth, from dioceses of the Anglican Church nationwide, were attending the three-day event, organized on the theme: “Effective leadership for the growth of the church,” in Kumasi.
Rev. Amoah prayed to God to give the youth insight and knowledge to enable them to carry out their responsibilities.
