Accra, Feb. 21, GNA-The Calvary Apostolic Revival Church (CARC) has broken the ground for the construction of a multi-million church complex at Teshie in Accra.
The complex, estimated at 120,000 cedis comprises a-two-storey building to used as an auditorium and offices as well as a-three-storey building for a foundation school.
The ground breaking ceremony was jointly performed by the founder of the church, Apostle Daniel Kwame Saforo, the Chairman of the church, Rev.Ishmael Anum-Sai and the Abokobi Mantse, Nii S.Adjetey Mohenu.
Apostle Saforo asked Christians to rise up and proclaim the good news to the world to make it a better place to stay.
He prayed that the Providence will resource the church to complete the edifice to the glory of God and appealed to Christians to lead exemplary life.
The Abokobi Mantse, Nii Adjetey Mohenu, said the new edifice was in fulfilment of the great commission to make the word of God known to the world.
He commended the Church for its untiring effort to spread the gospel to the uttermost parts of the world.
Earlier in a sermon, the Chairman of CARC, Rev. Ishmael Anum-Sai, urged the Christian community to pray for divine healing from God in order to enjoy the blessings bestowed on them to the fullest.
The Chairman asked Christians to always yearn for the fruits of the Holy Spirit in their quest for healing, prosperity and eternal life.
Rev.Anum-Sai reminded Christians that 'God is not so slow in reaching them at the point of their needs adding that the word of God works so swiftly to transform lives'.
