Presiding Archbishop of ICC signs Mill's book of condolence

Accra, Aug 2, GNA - Archbishop Dr George Slezer Ofori-Attah, Presiding Archbishop of the International Council for the Clergy (ICC), has signed the Book of Condolence in honour of the memory of the late President John Evans Atta-Mills in Accra.

     Government has opened book of condolences at the Flagstaff House, the State House, Banquet Hall and the residence of the late President, following his passing on last Tuesday.

     In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Archbishop Ofori-Attah lamented over the sudden demise of the former President, adding that the late Professor was a true depiction of a Christian leader and a father.

     He described him as a selfless leader who was devoted to his call as a president of the Republic and had positively influenced the lives of everyone in the country with his good virtues.

     Archbishop Ofori-Attah expressed the hope that the peaceful virtues portrayed by the late Professor Mills while he was alive would reflect as the country prepared for the December polls.
