Police Commander appeals for more public support

 

Mampong (Ash), Sept. 13, GNA – Police Chief Superintendent Solomon Ntim, the out-going Divisional Commander of Asante-Mampong, has appealed for more public support and cooperation in the against crime.
     He said it was important to provide useful leads to aid the police to track down miscreants and bring them to justice.
     This comes amidst persistent attacks on travellers by robbers at the Mampong Scarp section of the Kumasi-Ejura highway and on the Hwediem-Nsuta road.
     Chief Superintendent Ntim, who spoke to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Thursday, said it must not be lost on anybody that combating crime was a shared responsibility.
     The people should be bold to expose criminals hiding in their communities.
     He gave the assurance that the police would do everything to provide law-abiding citizens with the needed security protection.
     Chief Superintendent Ntim is now on transfer to Berekum in the Brong-Ahafo Region.
