Chief of Staff at the Office of the President still at Post - Statement

Accra, Aug. 2, GNA - The Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Mr John Henry Martey Newman has not resigned and is still at post, according to a statement issued in Accra on Thursday by the Minister of Information, Mr Fritz Baffour.
The statement said it had come to the notice of the presidency that certain media houses had reported the alleged resignation of Mr Newman as the Chief of Staff at the Office of the President.
“The presidency wishes to state categorically that Mr John Henry Martey Newman has not resigned and is still at post and that all the alleged reports are palpably untrue and should be disregarded in totality,” the statement said.
