Upper East NDC Cadres express condolence to Mrs Mills

Bolgatanga, Aug 6, GNA - The Upper East National Democratic Congress (NDC) Cadres have expressed their condolence to Mrs Naadu Mills on the death of her husband, President John Atta Mills.

 A  statement  signed by the Regional Chairman, Mr Noble Asakeya Alagskomah, said the Cadres said  “when it comes to good governance in Africa, the departed Professor Mills stands tall among his colleagues.”

“He exhibited the highest degree of probity, transparency and accountability, very incorruptible, very discerning and a strict adherence to the Rule of Law.

He was accommodating, religious and ther most tolerant President Ghana has ever had,” it said.

The statement said the demise of the President was a big blow not only to Ghana but also the entire world and prayed that God would grant him eternal rest.

The Cadres congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his elevation to the highest office of the land and pledged to support him
