President Mahama shares vision of President Mills on Nzema's development - Buah

Adubrim (W/R),Aug. 8, GNA - The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, Mr. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah says President John Dramani Mahama shares the vision of President John Evans Atta Mills and will continue to push the development agenda of Nzema land forward.
He therefore asked the people in Nzema to rally behind President Mahama and the NDC government to bring more development to the area.
Mr. Buah who doubles as the deputy Minister for Energy, was addressing residents of Adubrim as part of his tour of the constituency.
Some of the towns he visited are Kikam, Nkroful, Aiyinasi,Aluku and Bomoakpole.
He told the people that the exit of President Mills will not spell  doom for the party, but rather strengthen it.
Mr.Buah said since the overthrow of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the progress of Nzema had stalled. The Mills-led administration had therefore turned its attention to the area by appointing a number of Nzemas to sensitive positions in the present government.
He observed that President Mills was not respected and recognized when he was alive but after his demise, his critics are praising him.
The MP said President Mills told him on the Friday before his demise on Tuesday that  "Kofi, since I came to the world,I have been doing good to Ghana but people continue to attack me'.
Mr.Buah promised to complete a school project for the town by November and construct a bridge to link their cocoa farms.
The District Chief Executive(DCE) ,Mr.Daniel K.Eshun said the NPP failed to continue projects started by the NDC when they left power in 2000 but the NDC had continued projects started by the NPP.
He said the opposition parties especially the NPP had engaged in indecent politics by defacing and destroying NDC posters and flags on President John Atta Mills.
The former NPP constituency Women' Organizer, Madam Sarah Mensah, who had defected to the NDC, said she was amazed about the quantum of developmental projects the MP had initiated and completed in a matter of 3 and half years.
She admitted that the NPP was all out to peddle falsehood and asked the people to resist their vile propaganda messages.
